Jack Pine Ridge Retreat
Jack Pine Ridge Retreat is a small family-run wilderness retreat located an hour north of Edmonton, hidden away in the beautiful Tawatinaw River Valley. It is made up of the ‘Main House’, ‘Studio 1’ and ‘the Back Yard’ – 160 Wooded Acres of untouched nature and forest trails. The retreat is suitable for so many things and we are open to working on and personalizing your meeting, gathering, retreat, small wedding, or get away with you.
The Main House
The ‘house’ is fully decked out with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to share.
There are 3 private rooms with queen size bed that could be used for one or two people as suitable.
There are 2 shared rooms with single beds.
Shared living spaces include:
A ‘Snug’ in the basement, fully set up with poker/games table, sitting area, coffee bar, draft beer dispensers and wine fridge that can be stocked for your use.
- Main floor sitting area with fireplace.
- Large main floor dining room to seat 10-12 people.
- Fully equipped kitchen.
Studio One
The ‘studio’ was designed as a multipurpose facility. It is set up as a standalone unit, with a full kitchen and bathroom with shower. It is rustic and beautiful – all tongue and groove pine, with a grain burning stove for warmth and ambiance. Studio One could be used as for a private rental cabin, a meeting space for corporate or team events, a small intimate wedding, or for other small gatherings of up to about 30 people comfortably.
With the awesome assistance of ROYEA Contracting, we have recently completed the addition of a fabulous 1100 square foot deck wrapping around the facility to allow patio seating for “many”, an outdoor dance floor or to add extra room for your event.
